One of the leading museums in the US – “Albright Knox Gallery” in Buffalo annually holds a competition for the right to be exhibited in this museum for a year. Around 200 artists from the state of New York and adjacent states, who present 2 works each, participate in the competition. The works that won can be on display directly in the museum or can be taken on urgent lease or redeemed. It’s an honour to win in this competition. During the season 2004-2005 two B.Shalumov’s pictures, “Once in February”, “Twilight in Main Street” became the winners.
