The 3d individual exhibition “A Window to the World” was inaugurated in the Exhibition Hall of the Artists’ Union of Russia on Gogolevsky Boulevard. It was held within the framework of the joint international project of the European Art Museum (the USA) and the Artist’s Union of Russia. 87 paintings and some pastels, in most of which brand new were exhibited in 3 halls. It aroused profound interest among the broad section of the painters, art historians, journalists, collectors and many art lovers. The pictures, created by the author in different countries of America, Europe and Asia, landscapes, portraits, still lives and canvases on philosophical themes were collected on display. For the results of the exhibition Benjamin Shalumov was awarded with a medal of the Artists’ Union of Russia.
