On the 20th of October 2005 on the initiative of the plenipotentiary of the Republic Dagestan under the President of the Russian Federation in the building of the representative office - an individual exhibition of the artist, the native of Dagestan B.Shalumov was inaugurated. 60 works were on display – some of them dedicated to the native area of the artist – Dagestan. Ramazan Shahbanovich Mamedov the plenipotentiary of the Republic of Dagestan under the President of the Russian Federation opened the exhibition. Broad sections of public were present at the inauguration – members of the State Council and the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, prominent scientists artists, literatures, art historians, representing Dagestan diocese in Moscow, journalists, TV and Radio, collectors, art lovers, businessmen, representatives of art galleries, a great number of artist’s friends. The presentation of the painting “Memory of Honour” (a memorial complex) dedicated to the victory of the Dagestan united forces over the common enemy - invader of Dagestan – Nadir-shah
